Vision, Mission and Values
Our Vision (Why):
God is on a mission restoring all things back to His original design, free from the power and consequences of sin. This is accomplished through the Person and work of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. In Christ, God is redeeming a people back to Himself who are made new by the power of God’s Spirit. This new life is one of a reconciled relationship with God and with one another and puts on display the power and wisdom of God for His glory.
His people are called The Church, which is made up of those from every tribe, tongue, and nation. When God has finished building His Church, Christ will return and make all things new. He will dwell with His people in a new heaven and a new earth that is free of all sin, evil, tears, death, and division. The primary instrument through which God works His mission in the world is through His people, who carry His Message of reconciliation to every man, woman, and child. God is doing this work here in Ringgold County.
Missio Church’s desire is to be a faithful expression of The Church by being on mission together right here where we live, work, and play, extending outward to the broader world. This is why our name is Missio Church. Missio is the latin word for mission, and The Church are the people of God. Therefore we are a people on mission with God in the world for His glory, and for the good of those around us.
Our Mission (What):
Missio Church exists to glorify God by equipping all of Christ’s people to worship Him with all of their lives and to give every man, woman, and child repeated opportunities to respond to the Gospel.
